During Computex, Asus not only previewed its latest Eee PC line-up but some other forthcoming products as well. One of these products was a 42-inch Eee TV which Asus did not specifically highlight, yet it was seen by attendees on display near the Asustek booth. If you recall, this Eee TV was first seen sometime in January and rumored to be released in September.

Still, the lack of detailed information and specifications coming from Asus make us wonder whether Asus will market this TV as your usual LCD TV or something else more special. Not even the people manning the Asus booth were cooperative enough to leak out details about the Eee TV. And so we are left to ponder about it, albeit suspect other possible details until such time that Asus officially announces it.

Some observers found some USB ports and a LAN input on the TV, while others suspect that it would have web-browsing and email capability. Sadly, until the official announcement and release we can only admire this picture.

Global warming, nuclear apocalypse, urban sprawl. Nature is on trial and it’s slowly losing the fight. Finnish photographer Ilkka Halso’s photographic series ‘The Museum of Nature’ delves into a future which might put nature on the stand as a rare sight.

The Museum of Nature visually documents the possible future of viewing nature. Displaying a series of man-made structures that enclose nature, grasping on to the last hope for humans to view the Earth’s past. These structures would make nature a form of theater, complete with a seated audience.

We suppose that a future such as this is what drives the green activists to continue their fight in saving the spectacle of nature. The Museum of Nature could possibly be a peek into a grim future for nature. The important thing is, that there are at least people who are willing to preserve nature for the viewing of others.

The HTC Touch Diamond is hitting shores world-round, and this store in Malaysia is making a big deal of things with a full selection of accessories, alluring attendants, and what appears to be a permanent address. Just when we were all excited about seeing a RAmos V8 in the wild, it turns out the PMP has had a bit of shrinkage. Instead of the generous 4.3-inch screen we expected, the final unit is listed as having a more realistic 3-incher. Meanwhile, instead of the 16GB of storage for which we lusted, this unit has a measly 4GB. Now, it’s entirely possible that this is an entry-level unit at just 599 Yuan ($86 US), but we still feel a bit cheated. Other confirmed specs include a 400 x 240 resolution at 26K colors along with — get this — TV output. Supported formats include MP3, WMA, FLAC, APE, AVI, and RM/RMVB.

If Christian Dior’s $5,000 handset just wasn’t rich enough for your blood, hopefully the crocodile skinned, Swarovski-covered iteration will put a sizable enough hole in your bank account to make you feel sufficiently important. Reportedly dubbed Lady Dior, the ModeLabs-created mobile features a 2.6-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, 640 Swarovski stones and absolutely nothing really worth the price tag. Speaking of which, said sticker is right around €18,000 ($28,360). Laughable, no?
